The Last Day of An End And The First of A New Beginning

There you go……I have officially ended my work year in 2013 and I am kicking back to relax my way as 2014 heads on full steam. Thing accomplished this year? Tons!
1) I begin my year as Mrs Yong. Something I have to get use to and is still getting use to
2) We went on our honeymoon +baby moon(please let 2014 come with more trips)
3) We finally bought our nest (thou not ready till 2016. I am superbly happy with our investment and is looking forward to having our little space with our girl)
4) Lastly n most importantly, our little family of 2 became little family of 3 ( I am most ever thankful for this girl. She is more than I can ask for and my most important job for 2014 is to bring her up well)
2013 has been an exciting year and I thank God for all that has happened, both good and bad as I know that every little thing he put me through, he knows I am capable of handling. And I look forward to another wonderful year that God has plan for me,Kat n papa Kat.

The Odds in Life

There was an accident update that Schumacher…also known as “uncle Shu”, as how me n my husband describe him, was in coma after a ski accident. Then I thought….the odds in life sometimes seem v much like a cynical joke. For example, crocodile hunter Steve Erwin has no issues with life threatening crocodiles, but gets killed by a Stingray. Now uncle Shu not in any car accident, but only get into deep trouble ( “coma”) when he retires, and at a ski accident.

As kat’s por por say….sometimes in life just have to “yeng meng”. Well, I guess God has his plans and we shall just live our lives accordingly and to its fullest. For all the F1 fanatics, as much as we dun really like him as a racer nowadays, we salute to his never dying passion for racing until he literally became Uncle Shu and he will be in our prayers.

All is Well:)

I was wondering what to write on Kat getting sick, when and a certain liner suddenly came across my mind……Not sure which movie or TV series or Comedy, I heard this phrase in an Indian accent….”All is Well”……Do inform me if anyone of you guys know it.:)

The previous long weekend has been a ultra hectic one. My little princess is ill n the husband broke his finger-,- We managed to pass the weekend with the little girl having on and off fever, a terribly blocked noise and little sleep. It didnt occur to me how heart broken I would be until this thing occurred and all I did the whole weekend was to hug and cuddle her when she was uncomfortable…Of course, there was awesome Por Por n Gong Gong to help. Even the broken finger husband helped out here n there:D

For all the worried uncles n aunties, jie jies and gor gors, Daddy n Por por has brought our little princess to the doctor and most importantly, Kat has been smiling and playing even though she was sick the whole time. So thanks to my strong little warrior princess, ” ALL IS WELL…:)”

Its AWESOME!

Once in awhile in life, you come across something and you get that feeling of “WHOA”….Well….today was one of those days:) Thanks to my tech savvy husband that got me a ipad mini, reviving my blog has been one of my number one duties.

It is now like a handy note book to me. From managing my finances using the Home Budget app all the way to uploading my blog and writing my crappy nonsense. Back to the most “WHOA” thing that happened! There is this awesome app called the “Paper.” It is so cool! Literally like a note book, I can draw, write and even print out the hardcopy notebook with their tie-in with Moleskin….SO COOL….calling out to all ipad users! This is definitely a must have app!

Starting Over

Figuring that not many people has been reading my blog….Perhaps it is time that I find better use of this space……TO VENT OUT

And of course, having a iPad mini as a Christmas present makes this extra easy to achieve the purpose of this new blog. What an awesome gift to have….
